Everything you need to understand Gentia, Insights First AI, and how workforce intelligence pays for itself. Last updated: November 2026.

Fundamentals

Gentia is a workforce intelligence platform. We ripple through your organisation's existing data — HR, rostering, surveys, operational signals — surface people-related risks before they compound into cost, and apply the right controls at the source. The result: less turnover, less absenteeism, more productivity, and stronger engagement. Business outcomes, not compliance theatre.

Gentia is built for organisations where workforce risk shows up on the executive's desk. Our primary users are CEOs, CFOs, and CPOs (Chief People Officers) in mid-to-large organisations across early childhood education, universities, healthcare, retail, and blue-collar industries. We serve leaders who own a business number that workforce risk quietly erodes.

Most enterprise AI is model-first: you get a general model guessing at your context. Gentia is Insights First — super-intelligences working together with a context layer engineered for precision. Three brains layer together: an Industry brain (10+ years of domain expertise, 10,000+ expert-labelled risk attributes), a Psychosocial Safety brain (the science of how work makes or breaks people), and Your Company brain (your policies, roles, workforce history, operating context). The result is insights you can trust and controls that actually move the number.

Insight Navigators are Gentia's specialist AI agents. Each one is purpose-built for a specific business function — Leadership, Change, Workforce Design, Wellbeing, Compliance, Culture — and carries all three brains (Industry, Psychosocial Safety, and Your Company). They reach the leader who owns the fix, with the coaching already prepared. Enterprise customers can commission bespoke Navigators built for their organisation.

Dashboards tell you what happened. Gentia tells you what's happening now, what's driving it, what it will cost if nothing changes, and which control will move the number — mapped to the leader who owns it. It's the difference between reading a report and receiving coaching.

Turnover costs, absenteeism costs, engagement scores, productivity, claims exposure. Gentia is engineered to move these five metrics because the workforce risks driving them are the same risks Gentia surfaces and controls.

Use Cases

Gentia identifies the workforce conditions that predict resignation — manager stretch, role imbalance, disrupted programming time, sustained overload — weeks before an exit. It then reaches the leader who owns the control with a specific, mapped action: coach these two managers, rebalance this role, protect this team's focus time. Retention becomes a lead metric, not a lag metric.

Most change programmes fail because psychosocial risk isn't factored in. Gentia scans your change design against the workforce conditions likely to break it, flags the roles and teams where risk will compound, and gives change leaders precision controls before rollout. It turns change agility from an aspiration into a design output.

Yes — and more importantly, it's the engine underneath the business outcomes. Because Gentia is built on deep psychosocial safety expertise, it produces defensible, audit-ready evidence for ISO 45003, WHS Regulations, and jurisdiction-specific obligations across all Australian states. Compliance becomes a by-product of running the business well.

Gentia surfaces where each leader's real leverage sits — which behaviours, in which context, will most reduce risk on their team. It then delivers targeted coaching via our award-winning Leading WELL programme, driven by your organisation's actual risk data. Leaders develop on the specific muscles their teams need most.

Yes. The Consultation Navigator gathers richer employee insight through a personalised conversational agent that asks relevant questions in real time — so the data collected is precise, contextual, and ready to act on. It solves the trust problem that traditional surveys create.

Getting Started

Three weeks, typically. That's compared to three months for a conventional psychosocial assessment or workforce diagnostic. Gentia works with the documents and data you already have — no new systems to implement.

Very little. Gentia works with your existing organisational documents, HR data, and operational signals. During onboarding we help you connect the relevant sources and configure your organisation's context layer. No employee survey required to begin.

No. Gentia is designed to work with the signals your organisation already generates. There is nothing for your teams to fill in and no survey fatigue to add.

Typically the CPO or Chief People Officer, working closely with the CEO and CFO because the business outcomes sit across all three. Larger implementations often involve a People & Culture lead as day-to-day owner and an executive sponsor.

We design a guided pilot during your first conversation. It usually runs 4–8 weeks, focused on one business area or one division, with clearly defined success measures tied to a specific business metric (turnover, productivity, engagement).

Technical Concepts

Gentia draws on the workforce and operational information your organisation already holds — rostering, surveys, reflections, HR data, operational data — combined with our Industry brain and Psychosocial Safety brain. We do not require new data collection to begin.

The Context Graph is the layer that stores your organisation's unique context — roles, policies, workforce history, operational patterns. It's what makes Gentia's insights precise for you specifically, rather than generic. Every interaction enriches the Context Graph, and the system gets more precise with every engagement.

Every finding is traceable to its source. Gentia shows what is changing, why it matters, and the evidence behind it. No black-box outputs. Leaders can trust and act on the insight because they can see how it was reached.

Gentia is jurisdiction-aware across all Australian states, aligned with WHS Regulations and ISO 45003. Our compliance layer updates automatically as regulations change, and Insight Navigators flag when a change affects your organisation's controls or evidence base.

Enterprise plans include pre-built connectors and APIs to bring in data from the tools your teams already use — HRIS, rostering, engagement, and operational systems. Starter and Team plans support secure document and data uploads.

Security & Privacy

Gentia's governance aligns with global standards (ISO 27001, ISO 27002, ITIL, COBIT, NIST). Data is stored securely and never shared outside your organisation. Uploaded files are encrypted, private, and secure by default.

No. Contractual agreements with our AI subprocessors prohibit using customer data for their training. Your data works for your organisation only.

No. Gentia works with aggregate workforce and operational signals at the team, role, division, and organisation level. It is designed to surface working-condition risks and support leaders — never to monitor, score, or profile individual employees.

Role-based permissions are configurable to match your organisation's policies. Enterprise plans support single sign-on (SSO / SAML) and can restrict specific data domains to specific roles.

Gentia's Customizable Guardrails keep interactions focused on relevant topics and automatically flag sensitive items for HR review. You retain complete oversight over what the system engages with and how.

Enterprise customers choose where their data lives. Starter and Team plans default to secure Australian-hosted infrastructure. Full data-hosting details are provided during onboarding.
